Scope and Contents
This collection contains architect's plans, etchings, engravings, photographs and published pictures showing the various Academy buildings from its founding. The collection is divided by external depictions and internal depictions. The latter includes some exhibits, research areas, different versions of the library, renovations, etc. A partial account was included in the Academy's Proceedings for 1901.

Scope and Contents
Hawkins was an English anatomist, osteologist and paleontologist, but apparently confined his interests to skeletal aspects, stressing comparative osteology as an approach to artistic representations. One paper appeared in the Academy's Proceedings for 1874, "On the Pelvis of Hadrosaurus", and another in New York in 1870 on Ichthyosaurus. Helen Elizabeth Lawson, the second daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth De Scaife Lawson, was born in Philadelphia sometime in or about the year 1808. An accomplished scientific illustrator, her contemporaries described her work to be "so perfect as certainly leave nothing to be desired", and H.A.
